Shell was a dream turned into reality. From a very young age, Sadaf Al Awadhi had an interest in fashion designing.

Our Story
The brand name “shell” is a translation of the designer’s name from Arabic to English. Sadaf started pursuing her career right after graduating by taking multiple courses that helped her as a designer tap into what makes her distinctive in the fashion industry.
After nine years of continous experimentation, Sadaf was able to create abstract and contemporary pieces where she gathers her inspiration from architecture and elements of nature.
Sadaf opened her very first show room in 2016, where she had a chance to meet up with different clients and tailor her pieces accordingly.
What makes shell unique is the curated pieces that are a combination of distinctive monochromatic textiles and 3D cuts. Every piece she creates is a reflection of her daring sense of style.

The Product of Shell Design
Signature Pieces
Shell’s signature pieces started off as obstructive ideas made out of paper, that slowly progressed and were implemented on fabrics; the inspiration was derived from the silhouettes and lines within the construction of buildings.
